TERM OF OFFICE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT LINKED TO THE TERM OF OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER
SALARY: R 333 572.47 PL 5/3 Per Annum
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12, and / any formal qualification related to the field of work. Candidate must demonstrate a high level of Communication, interpersonal, report writing skills. Candidate must be computer literate. Candidate must have a valid South African driver’s license preferably code (EB). Candidate must have at least 1-3 years relevant working experience. Candidate must not have a criminal record.
DUTIES: Liaise and interact with CDW’s on a continuous basis to ensure co-ordination of activities. Manage the interface between Ward Committees and the Council’s decision-making process by ensuring that CDW’s recommendations are expeditiously processed through the Council’s meeting system. Ensure that the Council decisions that affects CDW are communicated to them timeously in order to realize local community participation in the affairs of the municipality as envisaged by the Constitution and other relevant legislation. Responsible to build a good relationship between the Ward Councilors, PR Councilors, Ward Committee members and the Community at large.
