TERM OF OFFICE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT LINKED TO THE TERM OF OFFICE OF THE SPEAKER
SALARY : R 333 572.47 PL5/3 Per Annum.
REQUIREMENTS: Grade 12, National Diploma in Auditing or relevant qualification related to the field of work. Three (3) years’ experience in the field of auditing in both Local Government and Public Sector. Candidate must be computer literate. Proven experience in Auditing. Must demonstrate high level of Communication Skill both written and verbal. Good project management skill. Ability to deal with conflict situations. Candidate must have a valid south African driver’s license preferably code B. Candidate must not have a criminal record.
DUTIES: Work with the committees to undertake investigations and compile oversight reports to enhance good governance, interrogates reports (AG, Audit Committee, annual reports and financial statements – AFS), interview stakeholders to gather information (eg. Community members, Municipal Officials, Councilors and etc). Ensuring that MPAC and section 79 committees reports are tabled in Council and track implementation of MPAC and Section 79 committees’ resolution by council. Responsible to perform functional support duties relating to MPAC responsibilities.
