OVERSIGHT REPORT FOR 2020/2021
Notice is hereby given in terms of Chapter 12, section 129 (1) (a) of the Municipal Finance Management Act no 56 of 2003 that the Municipality’s Oversight Report 2020/2021 was adopted, and the Annual Report 2020/2021 was considered during an ordinary Council Meeting held on 301H May 2022, as per Council Resolution no 1/5
In accordance with the provision of Local Government Municipal Systems Act,32 of 2002, section 21 A, the Oversight Report 2018/2019 is hereby made public and copies are provided at all municipal offices in Clocolan / Hlohlolwane, Marquard /Moemaneng, Senekal/ Matwabeng and Ficksburg / Meqheleng libraries, as well as the municipal website www.setsoto.gov.za.

Interruption Of Electricity Supply

NOTICE TO ALL BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS OF FICKSBURG, CALEDON PARK AND MEQHELENG.

INTERRUPTION OF ELECTRICITY SUPPLY.

All businesses and residents of Ficksburg/Caledon Park and Meqheleng are hereby notified that there will be an interruption of electricity supply as per below schedule. The interruption is necessary for the switching to be done at Ficksburg Substation.

The interruption will take place as follows: Date: 05 May 2022
Time: 08h00 — 15h00

During the entire time of interruption, the Municipality will not be able to pump water
and this may result in a shortage of water.

N.B: The residents are therefore warned that all lines must be considered as LIVE and DANGEROUS during entire time.

Public Notice Operation Fatala – Special Concession Period Farmers and Businesses

Notice is hereby given to all famers and businesses that the Municipality will once again embark on a special three month concession period for businesses and farmers, as the two groups are excluded from the normal concession scheme.

The special concession for farmers and businesses will be calculated as follows: Where 70% of the arrears 60 days and older plus current plus 30 days are paid as a lump sum and 30% of arrears 60 days and older will be written off. The payment must reflect in the Setsoto Local Municipal bank account at the latest on 29/07/2022.

The 3-month validity period: 29 April 2022 to 29 July 2022

Adopted Draft Integrated Development Plan 2022/2023 And Adopted Draft Medium-Term Revenue And Expenditure Framework 2022/2023 To 2024/2025

Public Notice Number 001/03/2022

Notice is hereby given in terms of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Ac, No 32 of 2000, as amended, and the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, No 56 of 2003, as amended, that the adopted Draft Integrated Development Plan 2022/2023 and draft Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework 2022/2023 to 2024/2025 of the Setsoto Local Municipality are now due for community engagements.

The draft documents, their summaries and annexures were adopted at the council meeting held on the 30 March 2022 and copies are available for the period of 21 days for public comments from 04 April 2022 until 03 May 2022 on the Setsoto Local Municipality’s website, www.setsoto.gov.za as well as the municipal offices and libraries in all towns of the municipality. Communities are hereby requested to submit written submission on the adopted draft Integrated Development Plan 2022/2023 and adopted draft Medium-Term Revenue and Expenditure Framework 2022/2023 to 2024/2025 by no later than the 29 April 2022.
